I am sharing with you the top five reasons I love living in this home. With a short visit, you wouldn?t necessarily have the opportunity to experience these magical qualities so here we go: Peace: Whether having coffee in the den off the kitchen, watching the hummingbirds play in the water fountain or basking in front of the linear fireplace, a feeling of tranquility and sense of being slows the heartbeat and causes us to savor the moment. The house has great flow. Sunlight: This house has never had a dark or gloomy day. We could be experiencing the wettest and grayest Seattle winter. From the first moment of the day, you can walk on warmed floors and be naturally lighted by carefully placed sky lights and large windows. Friends and family: They love being in the home. We can tell because they are always asking to be here for dinners, cooking together, and sharing their special occasions (wedding receptions to non-profit fundraisers). The house lends itself to good feelings and memorable moments. Where do they tend to gravitate for conversation? The kitchen, heated/covered outdoor space around the fireplace, and the roof deck. Something that?s missing - Maintenance. ??: From the Hardie Plank and brick on the exterior to the well-built and thought out systems, you will have more time and less worry. This extends to double systems for heat and an automatic electricity generator for those days when nature intervenes. Just one incident is all it takes to feel immense gratitude. Community: The neighborhood families have great relationships and look out for each other.
