I moved to Santa Barbara in the 1970’s to go to UCSB, fell in love with the area and have been fortunate enough to call it my home since then. After buying and selling a few homes, I was intrigued by the variety of the business, and decided real estate could be a good fit for me. After 37 years, it is a career that I am still very excited about, and I look forward to going to work every day.
I have been an agent with Century 21 since I received my license in 1987. Century 21 is the most recognized name in real estate, and has proven to be an excellent choice. Our office, Century 21 Masters, is the largest Century 21 office in the state, and the second largest in the U.S. Our office is Fine Homes and Estates designated for luxury home sales. We are a Centurion team, which is the top 1% of all Century 21 agents worldwide and we are a member of the Century 21 Honor Society, which recognizes consistent Centurion production. We are also a recipient of the Century 21 Quality Service Pinnacle Award, which is awarded based on positive feedback from clients after their transaction has closed.
We belong to the Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez Valley Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and the Residential Sales Council. I have been active in the local Association of Realtors, having served on the Education Committee and was Committee Chairperson.
We believe in being on the cutting edge of the real estate industry and are continually working to increase our knowledge and expertise as agents. I received my Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation by the Residential Sales Council, less than four percent of all Realtors achieve this designation. I also received my GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute) designation. Both designations require completion of extensive course work along with demonstrated expertise in applied residential real estate marketing.
We have sold properties from Goleta to Carpinteria, as well as the Santa Ynez Valley, and have experience in all types of real estate transactions. We also manage rental properties for our clients.
We are experts in maximizing the features of a home to achieve the absolute best presentation and the highest sale price possible. We are also firm believers in staging and creating curb appeal for the most effective first impression. We have developed an extensive marketing plan that we customize for each listing, which has proven very successful.
In 2017, I was joined in real estate by my son Nick and my daughter-in-law April, who moved from the Los Angeles area. April has her real estate license and is our social media expert. She heads up our property management division and is our client relations coordinator. Nick is a very talented photographer and does all of our listing photos, videos and floor plans, is also FAA drone certified for aerial photography. He has a background in media marketing and web presence to give our listings maximum exposure on the internet. Nick is currently studying to get his real estate license and is working with us on all transactions.
