Richard began his mortgage career in Massachusetts in 1996 where he was quickly recognized as a leading professional in the mortgage industry. In a short time he trained and managed a large team of mortgage professionals. With a dedicated $50 Million business line of credit, he and his team closed a total of $1 Billion in residential mortgages.
In 2006 he relocated to Hawaii, where he specifically focused on Luxury Financing, servicing both residential and commercial Super Jumbo transactions. Richard was the preferred lender at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, specializing in Luxury financing for US residents and foreign nationals. Because of his extensive knowledge and expertise in the Luxury realm, he has closed over $250 Million in Luxury residential financing, and has arranged financing for 5 star luxury hotels & resorts in excess of $275 Million. His largest funded Luxury residential mortgage was $16 Million at 2.19% Interest Only.
